Maurizio Baietta

Marketing & Communication

Joins Egnazia in 2023.
Originally from Verona, he boasts a more than twenty-year curriculum as a manager and top manager in the Marketing working in Automotive Luxury field of prestige-level Italian companies internationally oriented.

Massimo Comes

Finance

CFO of the Group, he arrived in Borgo Egnazia in April 2016 after a long experience of 20 years in big multinational companies where he gained expertise in different area: auditing, financial controlling, accounting, treasury management, monitoring of fiscal and legal issues.

Giuseppe De Benedetto

Sales

He began his 25 year career in consumer goods before moving into hospitality. First employee in 2010 started his path in Borgo Egnazia, playing an important role for Italian development, then did stints as associate before becoming Sales Director.

Eliseo Giannoccaro

Talent

39 years old, certified Chief Happines Officer, he joined the group in 2018 concerning selection, training and development contributing to the evolution of a working atmosphere shaped by a corporate culture that is both fair and friendly.

Giambattista La Torre

Development

Giambattista La Torre is our development director. He spent the first decade of his career in hospitality spreading from finance to operations. He started overseeing development for the Group in 2019, dealing with origination, feasibility and execution of agreements.

Emanuele Manfroi

Area General Manager

Born in 1975 in Piedmont, arrived in the group after a prestigious career in the hotel industry – from the Park Hyatt of Milan and Sydney to the Four seasons of Milan and finally to Belmond in 2014, where he gained valuable experience up until the present day.

Teo Moccia

Development & Technical Supervision

Teo Moccia has personally overseen the development and construction of Borgo Egnazia since 2006.
He ensures that the facilities are operating smoothly by monitoring and reports on equipment performance, maintenance needs, and employee performance.

Andrea Ribaldone

Food & Beverage

Milanese by birth but Piedmontese by family and training, he obtained three Michelin Stars in 2003, in 2015 and in 2018. From 2016, he’s coordinating, in collaboration with Domenico Schingaro, the six restaurants of Borgo Egnazia in Puglia, and starting from 2022 the restaurants of all the Group’s facilities.
