Joins Egnazia in 2023 as Marketing & Communication Director leading the areas of Corporate, Press PR, Marketing, Digital Communication & CRM. Originally from Verona, he boasts a more than twenty-year curriculum as a manager and top manager in the Marketing working in Automotive Luxury field of prestige-level Italian companies internationally oriented

Massimo Comes
Finance
CFO of the Group, managing the Finance department, Massimo provides clear leadership and direction in all financial related matters including financial planning and strategies. He arrived in Borgo Egnazia in April 2016 , after a long experience of 20 years in big multinational companies where he gained expertise in different area: auditing, financial controlling, accounting, treasury management, monitoring of fiscal and legal issues.

Giambattista la torre
Development
Giambattista La Torre is our development director. He spent the first decade of his career in hospitality spreading from finance to operations. He started overseeing development for the Group in 2019, dealing with origination, feasibility and execution of agreements.

Emanuele Manfroi
Operations
Area General Manager, born in 1975 in Piedmont, arrived in the Melpignano family group after a prestigious career in the hotel industry – from the Park Hyatt of Milan and Sydney to the Four seasons of Milan and finally to Belmond in 2014, where he gained valuable experience up until the present day.

Andrea Ribaldone
Food and Beverage
Chef Manager, born at Milan in 1971. He obtains in 2003, his first Michelin Star, in 2015 the second one. Consultancy and training, research and enhancement of quality products as well as impeccable management of the kitchens of major events. In 2012, he is executive chef of Eataly in Tokyo and consultant for various accommodation facilities and important resorts. He coordinates the six restaurants in Borgo Egnazia with Domenico Schingaro.
