Andrea Filippi

Chief Commercial Officer

Andrea’s twenty-year career in hospitality began at prestigious hotels in Costa Smeralda and the Ciga group properties in Venice. His journey continued in Thailand with Amanpuri and was further solidified by his roles in the opening of the Four Seasons Hotel Milano and Park Hyatt Milano. In 2005, Andrea joined Belmond, where he assumed positions of increasing responsibility. He moved to Egnazia in 2024.

Massimo Comes

Finance

With over 20 years of experience in large multinational corporations, Massimo has honed skills in various key areas, including auditing, financial control, accounting, treasury management, and overseeing tax and legal compliance. He joined Borgo Egnazia in April 2016 and currently heads the financial division at Egnazia.

Emanuele Manfroi

Operations

Emanuele embarked on a role in operational management with the Melpignano family after a distinguished career in hospitality. His extensive experience includes tenures at Park Hyatt in both Milan and Sydney, Four Seasons in Milan, and ultimately at Belmond in 2014. He joined the group in 2021, assuming leadership of the operational management for their hotels.

Maurizio Baietta

Marketing & Communication

Maurizio boasts over twenty years of experience as a top executive in Marketing, collaborating with some of the most esteemed brands in the luxury automotive sector, including Maserati and Pagani Automobili. Since 2023, he has been spearheading the marketing and communications division.

Giuseppe De Benedetto

Sales

Giuseppe began his long career by training in consumer goods before pursuing a career in hospitality. As the first employee of Borgo Egnazia in 2010, he embarked on a path of increasing importance for the development of the Italian market for Egnazia Group properties.

Eliseo Giannoccaro

Talent

After many experiences in the fashion retail and large-scale organised distribution, where he held roles of increasing responsibility in the field of human resources, Eliseo joined Borgo Egnazia in 2019. Today, he heads the talent acquisition team at the Egnazia group.

Giambattista La Torre

Development

Giambattista, who boasts a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, has held diverse roles encompassing financial and operational responsibilities. Since 2019, he has taken charge of researching and acquiring new properties. His duties also include negotiating, managing, and executing contracts.

Teo Moccia

Development & Technical Supervision

Since 2006 Teo has personally followed the development and construction project of Borgo Egnazia. Today, he supports the design and development of the Group’s new openings.

Andrea Ribaldone

Food & Beverage

Milanese by birth but Piedmontese by family and education, he got three Michelin stars in 2003, 2015, and 2018. Since 2016, he has been studying and developing the gastronomic offerings of the Group’s restaurants.
